I know...its about time!

Ok, I've taken a lot grief from many of you for not getting into this whole blog thing earlier...so here we go!

A little bit about us first, my name is Amber and my hubby's name is Mike. We've been married for 4 years now and bought a house in McKinney a little over 3 years ago...we love it out here. I work for a dental office here in McKinney and Mike works for UPS and is a full time student at UNT. We have 2 dogs, Sugar a golden retriever and Chance a Siberian Husky...who up until now have been our babies! We love spending time with family and friends. Fishing, camping, pretty much anything outdoors are things we enjoy doing. I am also 7 1/2 months pregnant! I have been on bed rest now for the last 3 weeks...I went into the hospital feeling like I was starting to have contractions and sure enough I was and I was 1 1/2 centimeters dialated. At 31 weeks, you could say we were all a little freaked out! After 5 long days in the hospital they finally got everything to slow down and sent me home. I'm still having mild contractions every 5-10 min. but everything else is staying steady. So who knows when this baby will be here, its just a waiting game now. All I know is that after 3 wks of bed rest, I'm hoping for sooner than later...
